Researchers have used PBGUNS to simulate a wide variety of problems for many years. The most recent PBGUNS packages have also been featured as part of the "Ion Sources and Low-Energy Ion Beams" course taught by Baoxi Han and Martin Stockli of Oak Ridge National Laboratory at the U.S. Particle Accelerator School in 2011, 2013, and 2014.
